Process
No matter the size, scale or budget, each project Collective Projects takes on, has a specific process that comes down to the following three phases.
PRE-PRODUCTION
Collective Projects believes that the initial stages of a project are vital, from budgeting to scheduling, conceptualizing to outlining/script-writing. We work hard in the early stages of development to ensure all stages of the production process are most effective.
PRODUCTION
The Collective Projects production experience includes high-end cameras, lighting, and production support in-house. We work closely with a dedicated tight-knit crew of creative specialists. Our production team is scalable from a single shooter to a fully mobilized crew. Every crew member knows their role and our end goal which helps ensure our clients the highest quality content with the latest production technology.
POST-PRODUCTION
From on-set media management to final delivery Collective Projects handles all aspects of post-production including; picture editing, graphic creation, music cuees, sound design, sound mixing, color grading and delivery into all formats for web, presentations, and TV.

Collective Projects has directed, produced and edited 16 award-winning documentaries projects. These features, shorts and doc series have screened at film festivals all over the U.S. as well as internationally.
ROD MURPHY
producer / director / editor
Rod Murphy creates and fixes existing documentary films projects for individuals, organizations and corporations. Over his 20+ years of experience his documentary film work has garnered 15 awards from "Best of Documentary" to "Best of Fest." His films have been screened Internationally at festivals, on television and various streaming services. He also produces doc-style video content for nonprofits and corporations such as The United Way, The NBA, Outward Bound, Hanes Brand, ESPN, New Belgium Brewing, The YWCA, American Express and Industries for the Blind.

Gina B. Murphy is a production coordinator and business developer for Collective Projects. She bilingual, artistically inclined in all facets and a very passionate people oriented person with a knack for helping clients and talent feel prepared and comfortable during the production phase.
